The Test Lead – Senior will provide quality leadership for data transformation and enterprise initiatives within the Children, Youth & Social Services Cluster. The resource will work onsite 5 days per week and lead comprehensive testing strategies focused on data platforms, ETL pipelines, and large-scale enterprise systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts for complex data-driven projects.
  • Oversee Databricks pipeline testing including CDC validation, Parquet inspection, and FHIR JSON validation.
  • Perform advanced SQL-based data validation and verification across relational databases.
  • Develop automated ETL and pipeline testing processes using Databricks notebooks and related tools.
  • Ensure compliance with data warehousing standards, data governance, quality, integrity, and lineage requirements.
  • Lead manual and automated testing efforts including Selenium-based automation.
  • Manage defect tracking and test execution using Azure DevOps.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight of QA team activities.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to monitor data quality and testing effectiveness.
Must Have Skills
  • Extensive experience with Databricks pipeline testing, CDC validation, Parquet inspection, and FHIR JSON.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data governance, and data quality standards.
  • Experience crafting comprehensive test strategies and plans for data-focused projects.
  • Experience with automated ETL testing and Azure DevOps test management.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks including Selenium.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
