The Software Developer – Intermediate will support the Children, Youth & Social Services Cluster by designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure technologies. The resource will work onsite 5 days per week and contribute to full SDLC activities, integrations, and data migration initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Create and manage Power Pages websites to support secure document submissions.
  • Build workflows and automation solutions to streamline business processes.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Develop APIs using Azure API Management and integrate with Azure services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, and Blob Storage.
  • Lead data migration initiatives from legacy systems to Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Write and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server.
  • Package and deploy solutions across Dev, Test, and Production environments following governance best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate with stakeholders in Agile environments.
Must Have Skills
  • Experience designing and developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
  • Experience creating Power Pages websites for authenticated document submissions.
  • Strong experience building workflows and automation solutions.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse for data management and migrations.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL optimization.
  • Experience integrating with Azure services including APIM, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, and Blob Storage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile/Scrum teams.
