The Business Analyst – Intermediate will support operations audits, platform lifecycle management, performance analysis, service management reporting, and onboarding activities for the SUS platform. The role includes coordinating workshops, maintaining documentation, managing audit processes, supporting security and performance monitoring, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure platform compliance and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain SUS platform user lifecycle management processes.
  • Conduct periodic platform user audits and follow-up with clients for remediation.
  • Manage SUS audit and logging components, including product documentation and user guides.
  • Support requirements definition and implementation scheduling for new audit features.
  • Validate implementation deliverables and provide sign-off.
  • Monitor platform audit data to detect abnormal patterns and initiate corrective actions.
  • Support onboarding for application audit and provide high-level effort/resource assessments.
  • Generate monthly platform performance reports.
  • Monitor vulnerabilities and track security patching.
  • Prepare service management statistics: incidents, service requests, changes, outages, SLA metrics, and transaction volumes.
  • Manage SUS service description documentation and CI inventory in coordination with CMDB teams.
  • Participate in project meetings, provide status updates, and support operational processes.
General Project Management & Communication – 30%
  • Experience running workshops with business users.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in planning and implementing releases.
  • Experience developing project plans and supporting change management.
  • Experience in communication or organizational development roles.
Operations & Service Management – 30%
  • Experience supporting operations and service management for large IT platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, cloud platform service management, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience with SDLC and DevOps processes.
  • Extensive client relationship management experience.
Architecture, Implementation & Integration – 25%
  • 3+ years experience developing enterprise internet/intranet applications.
  • Experience integrating IBM WebSphere Suite, APIs, ESB, and Oracle DB.
  • Knowledge of the Zachman framework.
  • Experience with AODA compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture domains (business, information, application, technology, security).
Enterprise Security & Java Development – 10%
  • 3+ years experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), microservices, SOA, ESB, SSO, IAM, and J2EE security.
  • Experience providing application/security architecture guidance.
Public Sector Experience – 5%
  • Experience with OPS Enterprise Architecture Approval processes (ACT/ARB) and IT gating.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift) and Azure.
  • Experience with reporting tools and analytics.
  • Experience with CMDB methodologies.
  • Experience with Remedy or eSMT.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Government policies, project approvals, and business case processes.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes, lifecycle, event management, and audit management.
Engagement Details
  • Start Date: January 5, 2026
  • End Date: January 29, 2027
  • Closing Date: December 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. EST
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite (7.25 hours/day, Mon–Fri)
  • Security Clearance: None required

  • Onsite Schedule: 4 days/week onsite from Oct 20, 2025; 5 days/week onsite from Jan 5, 2026
