The Software Developer – Senior will support the Labour and Transportation Cluster by translating technical system specifications into fully tested, production-ready applications. The resource will contribute to backend and full-stack development, API integration, performance optimization, and CI/CD implementation within an Agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate front-end interfaces with backend services.
  • Implement Spring and SpringBoot components including Eureka, Zuul Gateway, JPA, and Swagger tools.
  • Perform performance tuning and database optimization using Oracle and PL/SQL.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML pipelines.
  • Implement API security using OAuth2, JWT, and Azure API Management.
  • Contribute to monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as App Insights.
  • Develop unit tests using JUnit or TestNG and support regression automation activities.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to junior developers.
Must Have Skills
  • 7+ years of Java-based backend development experience.
  • 7+ years of experience with Java SDK, JEE, Apache Ant, Tomcat, and JavaScript.
  • 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework, SpringBoot, RESTful APIs, JWT, PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with API security (OAuth2, JWT) and API Gateway implementation.
