Public Sector Experience: Government Services Integration Cluster – Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement
Contract End Date: March 31, 2026 *
Rate: $110/hr
The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery is seeking a Senior Business Architect to support the modernization of the Office of the Registrar General’s Vital Events registry. The role is focused on optimizing operations and designing a scalable, user-centric architecture that consolidates outdated applications and aligns with Ontario’s digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business process analysis and architecture planning for case management modernization
- Design and align business architecture artifacts in accordance with OPS standards and frameworks (Zachman, EA, GO-ITS)
- Develop capability models, future-state business blueprints, and transformation plans
- Engage in stakeholder management to align IT capabilities with business goals
- Promote vertical integration between Business Architecture, Solution Requirements, and Information Architecture
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years total IT experience, 5+ years in Business Architecture
- Experience completing architectures for government or large multi-stakeholder organizations
- Strong modeling skills (BPMN, Value Chain, Capability Models)
- Knowledge of Zachman Framework and Ontario Enterprise Architecture standards
- Experience with Salesforce, Miro, DevOps, and Service Design Lifecycle phases
